ANT EST: The Price of Staying
The life I left behind was never safety.
It was a decorated cage,
a quiet suffocation dressed as stability —
a world where envy wore smiles
and smallness passed for peace.
It was a decorated cage,
a quiet suffocation dressed as stability —
a world where envy wore smiles
and smallness passed for peace.
Every room demanded performance.
Every conversation hunted leverage.
Gossip flowed as currency,
and betrayal was entertainment.
The air itself whispered collapse
if I dared to stop playing along.
Staying would have required me
to shrink my truth for comfort,
to dim my fire for approval,
to decorate a life that was never mine.
If I had stayed, my field would have thinned —
diluted by fear, judgment, and old programming.
My energy would have poured into managing projections
instead of shaping reality.
The truths I carried would have remained ideas —
never embodied, never lived.
And our daughters would have inherited that weight —
watching parents who knew truth
but did not walk it.
They would have learned frustration instead of freedom,
caution instead of clarity,
compliance instead of sovereignty.
Staying would not have been loyalty.
It would have been delay —
a postponement of remembrance,
pushing the same lessons into another life
with sharper edges and heavier hands.
The cost of silence was the soul.
The price of staying was our becoming.
Leaving was not escape.
It was clarity —
a return to the straight, sovereign corridor
instead of the looping hallway of self-abandonment.
It was intense.
It was surgical.
It was necessary.
And once the rupture passed,
the field cleared.
Our family’s energy expanded.
Presence replaced survival.
Signal replaced noise.
Life began to move again.
What felt like destruction
was the restoration of truth.
What looked like loss
was the return of our original path.
This is the price of staying —
the erosion of the self.
And this is what leaving returned —
the remembrance of who we are,
and the frequency that now lights the way
for any soul ready to rise.
